Instructions for performances - Year End Show 2010

Dear Parents (Afternoon Show),

IF YOUR CHILD IS PARTICIPATING IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE SHOW:

Please accompany your child to their designated seating area upon arrival. If your child is to meet in a player’s bench, the area between the player’s benches or in a dressing room, please use the hallway between Section D/E (see attached map) to access these areas.

IF YOUR CHILD IS PARTICIPATING IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE SHOW:

Please have your child sit with you and your family until intermission.

During intermission please accompany your child directly to their designated seating area. Intermission will be very brief so it is important that they arrive and are seated as quickly as possible. If your child is to meet in a player’s bench, the area between the player’s benches or in a dressing room, please use the hallway between Section D/E (see attached map) to access these areas.

DIRECTIONS FOR BOTH THE FIRST AND SECOND HALF OF THE SHOW:

Your child may be seated in an assigned area before and/or after their performance. Supervision will be provided but if this arrangement causes you or your child any anxiety you are welcome and encouraged to sit with your child.

Please refer to your child’s individual class instructions regarding drop off and pick up information and directions.Please note that no child will be permitted to leave their designated pick- up area without a parent present.

**Competitive Athletes – Some competitive athletes perform in more than one number and have therefore been assigned dressing rooms and seating areas to use throughout the show.

Please find a map with directions and your child’s rehearsal time (if applicable – please note only recreational and competitive athletes have a scheduled rehearsal) attached.

As a reminder, tickets are on sale at the office as well as at the door on the day of the show. Doors will open ½ hour prior to show time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the office at 250 426-2090.

AFTERNOON PERFORMANCE – 1 ST HALF

Seating Assignments and Directions

Julia, Kaitlyn, Victoria, Emma, Jade: Prior to the show please take your daughter to her assigned dressing room where she will wait for her performance to begin. Following her performance please pick her up at the entrance between Section D/E so she can join you for the remainder of the show.

Haley, Selma, Emily, Riley, Cherish, Terryn:Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. and prepare for your first performance. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

ABC SONG – Monday and Thursday Parent/Tot:Prior to the show please go to Player’s Bench #1. Once you are seated please put your child’s footwear (as well as any other items not needed during his/her performance) into the bin provided. Following their performance you and your child will be directed to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick up their shoes, etc. and return to your seats to watch the remainder of the show.

Mackenzie, Kaiya, Julie, Jayleen:Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. and prepare for your first performance. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

I LIKE TO MOVE IT – Tuesday and Wednesday Parent/Tot:Prior to the show please go to Player’s Bench #2. Once you are seated please put your child’s footwear (as well as any other items not needed during his/her performance) into the bin provided. Following their performance you and your child will be directed to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick up their shoes, etc. and return to your seats to watch the remainder of the show.

SPLISH SPLASH – Thursday/Friday 3 - 4 year olds:Prior to the show please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

PIRATES – Provincial Boys: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

SHOUT – Thursday 4 ½ - 5 year olds: Prior to the show please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

LOCOMOTION – Wednesday 3 year olds: Prior to the show please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted back to their seating area where they can gather their belongings and wait for you pick them up following the end of the 1 st half of the show.

Taelor, Madysen, Terryn, Kylie, Jayleen, Kayley, Emily, Lauryn: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

MONEY, MONEY – Wednesday 4 – 5 year olds:Prior to the show please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

INTERMISSION

AFTERNOON PERFORMANCE - 2 nd HALF

DO THE DINOSAUR – Monday 3 year olds: During intermission please take your child directly to the hallway between the two Player’s Benches. Once you arrive please help your child remove his/her footwear, etc. and place them in the bin provided. The children will wait here until they are accompanied on to the floor for their performance. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

Michelle, Taylor H.W., Gabby, Alexa, Allie, Alana, Riley, Taylor J.: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room during intermission in order to be ready for your performance. Once your number is over you can return to your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). Please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your next performance.

WALK LIKE AN EGYPTIAN – Thursday 3 ½ - 4 year olds: During intermission please take your child to Player’s Bench #1. Once they are seated please put your child’s footwear, etc. into the bin provided. The children will wait here until they are accompanied on to the floor for their performance. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

STAY’N ALIVE – Friday 5 year olds: During intermission please take your child to Player’s Bench #2. Once they are seated please put your child’s footwear, etc. into the bin provided. The children will wait here until they are accompanied on to the floor for their performance. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

Madysen, Lauryn, Catherine: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room during intermission in order to be ready for your performance. Once your number is over you can return to your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). Please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your next performance.

LEADER OF THE PACK – Monday 3 ½ - 4 year olds: During intermission please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

LIME IN THE COCONUT – Tuesday 3 year olds: During intermission please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

Taelor, Jordanna, Carlie: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

THE LION SLEEPS TONIGHT – Tuesday 4 – 5 year olds: During intermission please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

MAMA DON’T DANCE – Monday 3 ½ - 4 year olds: During intermission please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

THROW YOUR HANDS UP – Junior and Thursday Recreational Trampoline: During intermission please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted back to their seating area where they can gather their belongings and wait for you pick them up following the end of the show.

CAR WASH – Monday 5 year olds: During intermission please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted back to their seating area where they can gather their belongings and wait for you pick them up following the end of the show.

TRICK TRICKLE – All Stars and Wednesday Gymstart: During intermission please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After their performance your child will be escorted back to their seating area where they can gather their belongings and wait for you pick them up following the end of the show.

ONE MAT WONDER – Chaos and Destruction: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. You can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performance. Parents please make arrangements to pick up your son or daughter near the Player’s Benches following the final performance.

EVENING PERFORMANCE – 1 ST HALF

TRICK TRICKLE – All Stars and Gymstart One : Prior to the show please take your child to Player’s Bench #1. Once they are seated please put your child’s footwear, etc. into the bin provided. The children will wait here until they are accompanied on to the floor for their performance. After their performance your child will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him/her up, gather their belongings, and have him/her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show (Gymstart 1’s have a second performance after intermission).

I’VE GOT A FEELING - Interclub Girls: Prior to the show please take your daughter to Section E where you will find her assigned seating area. She will remain here until she is accompanied to her designated Player’s Bench prior to her performance. Once seated she will put her footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After her performance your daughter will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick her up, gather her belongings, and have her accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

KUNG FU FIGHTING – Wednesday 8 – 9 Year Old Boys: Prior to the show please take your son to Section E where you will find his assigned seating area. He will remain here until he is accompanied to his designated Player’s Bench prior to his performance. Once seated he will put his footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After this performance your son will be escorted back to his seating area where he can gather his belongings and wait for you pick him up following the end of the 1 st half of the show.

Haley, Riley, Cherish: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

CHEER – Tuesday Provincial Dance Group: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

PUMP IT UP – Wednesday 8 – 11 Year Old Girls:Prior to the show please take your child to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. The children will remain here until they are accompanied to their designated Player’s Bench prior to their performance. Once seated they will be assisted in putting their footwear, etc. into the bin provided. After her performance your daughter will be escorted back to her seating area where she can gather her belongings and wait for you pick her up following the 1 st half of the show.

Emily, Terryn, Erin: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN - Monday Provincial Dance Group: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

INTERMISSION

AFTERNOON PERFORMANCE - 2 nd HALF

BEAT IT – Wednesday 6 – 9 Year Old Boys: During intermission please take your son directly to the hallway between the two Player’s Benches. Once you arrive please have your son remove his footwear, etc. and place it in the bin provided. The boys will wait here until they are accompanied on to the floor for their performance. After their performance your son will be escorted to the entrance between Section D/E where you can pick him up, gather his belongings, and have him accompany you back to your seat to watch the remainder of the show.

Taelor, Jordanna, Carlie: During intermission please go to your assigned dressing room and prepare for your performance. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

BREATH – Senior and Youth Trampoline: During intermission please go to your assigned dressing room and prepare for your performance. Sr. T & T have another performance so you can either stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performance. Following the performance Youth T & T will gather their belongings and be directed to their designated seating area (Section E) to watch the remainder of the show. Parents please arrange to pick up your son/daughter in this area at the end of the show. Natasha and Sabrina will return to their dressing room, prepare and join their Paparazzi group in Players Bench #1

Emily, Leanne, Taylor: During intermission please go to your assigned dressing room and prepare for your performance. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

PIRATES – Provincial Boys: During intermission please go to your assigned dressing room and prepare for your performance. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performance.

PAPARAZZI: During intermission please take your daughter to Player’s Bench #1. Once she is seated she will put her footwear, etc. into the bin provided. The girls will wait here until they are accompanied on to the floor for their performance. After their performance your daughter will be accompanied back to her designated seating area in Section E to watch the remainder of the show. Parents please pick up you daughter in this area at the end of the evening.

HEY MICKEY - Wednesday and Saturday 6 – 9 Year Old Girls: During intermission please take your daughter to Player’s Bench #2. Once she is seated she will put her footwear, etc. into the bin provided. The girls will wait here until they are accompanied on to the floor for their performance. After their performance your daughter will be accompanied back to her designated seating area in Section E to watch the remainder of the show. Parents please pick up your daughter in this area at the end of the evening.

Micheal Jackson Medley – Thursday Provincial Dance Group: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

Denise, Alex, Terryn, Natasha, Cole: Prior to the show please go to your assigned dressing room to drop off your costumes, etc. As you are in multiple numbers you can stay in your dressing room or watch the show from your designated seating area (Section E). If you choose to watch please ensure that you return to your dressing room at least 4 numbers prior to your performances.

DESIGN OF A DECADE – Gymstart 1, 2, & 3: During intermission please take your daughter to her assigned dressing room if she needs to make a costume change. From here please take her to Section E where you will find her assigned seat. For those who do not need to make a costume change please take your daughter to her assigned seating in Section E during intermission. The girls will wait here until it is time for their performance. Once there are finished performing they will return to their designated seating area where they will wait for you to pick them up following the end of the show.

ZZ TOP MEDLEY: During intermission please take your son/daughter to Section E where you will find his/her assigned seating area. Everyone will wait here until it is time for their performance. Once they are finished they will return to their designated seating area where they will wait for you to pick them up at the end of the show.
